Introduction
You are an environmentalist trying to convince others to save the rainforest. You will explore different websites in order to find information to support your cause. When you are finished, you will be creating your own motivational poster based on the facts you find throughout this webquest. Your mission is to answer the question,
WHY SAVE THE RAINFOREST?
Your Mission
Using the information you find throughout the webquest, you will create your own motivational poster that will motivate others to save our rainforests. Some things you might want to look for include:
-What resources do we get from the rainforest?
-What kinds of animals depend on the rainforest to live?
-What do people of the rainforest depend on?
-How does the rainforest affect our weather?
-Anything else that might influence others to save our rainforests.
The Process
1.To accomplish the task, you will work in partners.
2. You and your partner will explore the following websites looking for reasons why we should save our rainforests.
3. After exploring each website, you and your partner will create a poster that will motivate others to save the rainforest Your poster should include facts that you found in the websites.
4. You might want to include graphics from the websites on your posters.
